Birth Support

Continuous, non-medical support through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum so you feel informed, grounded, and less alone.

The benefits of continuous support

Research into continuous support during labour has linked doula care with fewer caesareans, a higher likelihood of spontaneous vaginal birth, reduced medication use, shorter labour, and greater satisfaction.

A doula does not replace clinical care. The role is to support you emotionally, physically, and practically while keeping your voice central.

What doulas do and do not do

Doulas can offer comfort measures, position suggestions, reassurance, partner support, information, and advocacy for informed choice.

Doulas do not perform clinical tasks, diagnose, give medical advice, make decisions for you, pressure you into choices, or take over from your partner.

Your birth, your context

Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, vaginal birth, caesarean birth, or something still taking shape, support can be tailored to your needs.

Continuous, non-judgemental support is available to empower your unique journey into motherhood and help you land after the intensity of birth and early parenthood.
