The postnatal period is a time of profound transformation. Your body has done extraordinary work and deserves gentle, practical care.

Massage can support physical recovery, ease muscle tension from feeding and carrying baby, and provide a peaceful space to relax and restore your energy.

When to begin

For vaginal births, many clients begin when they feel ready after the first week. For caesarean births, waiting until the scar has healed is usually recommended.

There is no too-late point. Postnatal massage can be helpful weeks, months, or years after birth.

What we can tend

Neck, shoulder, and back tension from feeding and carrying baby.

Swelling, pelvic fatigue, abdominal tenderness, hormonal changes, and the emotional weight of early motherhood.

Herbal tea, practical referrals, and self-care suggestions can be woven in when useful.
